Abstract
The replacement of indeterminate initial conditions by a boundary condition at the natural boundary of a central field F = -α/r2 makes it possible to find a minimum distance r0 near which a particle cannot spontaneously penetrate to the center of the field. This condition is extended to all particles by the introduction of the concept of the field-dynamical core. It is noted that the equipotenttal surface of the core is a rational natural energy reference system. A direct relationship is established between the distance r0 in a gravitational field and the mass of the central body; this relationship then determines the minimum angular momentum K0 for the motion of a particle.
