Van Hove overlap function and high-energy elastic scattering

Abstract

The characteristics of elastic scattering are studied in detail starting from unitarity conditions, for both small and large transmitted pulses corresponding to a modified overlap function (2). It is shown that these characteristics depend essentially on the parameters of the model (2).
