Abstract
In this article, we shall study the Cerenkov radiation of spatially extended uniformly charged systems (in particular, systems whose charge is distributed over the volume of an ellipsoid of revolution, over the surface of a sphere, and over an infinitely thin ring) and volume currents moving at constant velocity along the optical axis of a uniaxial transparent ferrodielectric.
