Quantum theory of Vavilov-Cerenkov radiation by Dirac particles in a transparent uniaxial crystal

Abstract

The quantum theory of Vavilov-Cerenkov radiation by Dirac particles in a transparent uniaxial crystal is discussed. The case, in which a particle is initially moving along the crystal optical axis or perpendicular to it, is investigated.
