Conclusions
-
1.
Kh18N12M2T steel seams welded with an automatic pipe welder in an argon atmosphere with a nonconsummable electrode are just as strong as the base metal.
-
2.
The welded specimens do not become brittle, for all intends and purposes, after soaking at 650 and 750° for 2000 hours.
-
3.
Weld seams do not show a tendency to intercrystalline corrosion directly after welding or after prolonged soaking at 650 and 750° (2000 hours).
