Mental health care of the elderly in a time of scarcity

Abstract

Decreased funding is having a particularly severe impact on the mental health care of the elderly, while the demographic pressures for more services are growing. The author explores the administrative dilemmas of this imbalance between needs and resources, as well as possible approaches to the problem.
