Abstract
Films of Re-Ni alloy of any desired composition can be produced electrochemically. When there is only a small content of one of the components, the alloy is homogeneous (a solid solution based on the second component). The Re-based solution is of uncertain crystal structure. Supersaturated solid solutions have been found. At intermediate compositions a two-phase system is formed — a finely dispersed mixture of Ni- and Re-based solid solutions.
