Connection between deformation texture and deformed grain shape in commercially pure iron after rolling

  • Published:
Soviet Physics Journal Aims and scope

Abstract

A definite connection was established in [1] between the compression texture of iron and deformed grain shape and orientation in relation to the direction of compression.

Analysis of deformed grain shape is utilized in the present work to explain texture peculiarities in rolled iron.
