Abstract
Ultraviolet irradiation of the silica attached complex Pt(C2O4)L 2, [L=(H3CO)3Si(CH2)2PEt 2], yields a [SiO2]-L 2Pt species that catalyzes olefin hydrosilation or adds 2 CO to yield a surface dicarbonyl complex.
