Conclusions
-
1.
A study has been made of the effects of Hf, Ta, W, and Re on ϱ and α for CeB6.
-
2.
It is found that 0.5 at.% Hf or W reduces ϱ and α by 20–25% on account of change in u* for the solid solutions of these metals in CeB6.
-
3.
5–15 at.% hardly affects ϱ, while α is only slightly altered.
