The nature of the ferromagnetic linewidth of polycrystalline hexaferrites

  • Published:
Soviet Physics Journal Aims and scope

Abstract

The observed values of the ferromagnetic resonance linewidth of polycrystalline hexaferrites (both uniaxial and planar) are explained in the independent-grain approximation using the idea of a spread in the values of the anisotropy field of the crystals due to differences in their shape.
