  • Published:
Soviet Physics Journal Aims and scope

Abstract

Experimental apparatus and procedure are described for studying the magnetic and electric fields on the outer surface of thin-walled metal tubes in translational motion with respect to an electromagnet within the tube and on its axis. Experiments are described involving flawless copper and iron tubes and tubes in which longitudinal slits have been machined through the wall.
