Conclusions
-
1.
The time parameters of "pendulum" thermal cycling treatment are a function of piece thickness and heating furnace temperature.
-
2.
Selection of the minimum allowable furnace temperature with a special nomogram is proposed.
-
3.
In heating of heavy pieces, it is necessary to take into consideration the decrease in the amplitude of the temperature waves across the part thickness.
