Abstract
The possible existence of spin combustion at a pressure less than atmospheric is demonstrated. The region of spin combustion is determined on coordinates of gas mixture pressure-nitrogen concentration in the mixture. The effect of overall pressure for the mixture and nitrogen concentration in it on the main characteristics of spin combustion (rate, frequency, pitch) are studied. Data are obtained for self-cleaning of titanium from oxygen impurity with combustion.
