Conclusions
-
1.
It was found that a thermomechanical treatment increased the ductility and strength of steel at −195°C.
-
2.
The best values of strength and ductility obtained after such a treatment at 900°C. Higher rolling temperatures reduced these properties.
-
3.
The improvement in properties is caused by the increased brittle strength of the austenite grain boundaries.
