Conclusions
On the basis of the investigation described in this article, it can be concluded that infiltration with low-melting-point alloys substantially improves the bearing properties of contact plates and trolley-bus collector inserts made of sintered iron- and copper-base materials, decreases the intensity of wear of rubbing pairs incorporating such elements, and increases the operational reliability of contact materials.
