Summary

ω-Substituted undecanals1 and2 reacted with acridine derivatives3 and5 to give the terminally substituted 9-alkylidene-10-methylacridans6. The compounds prepared were highly fluorescent and exhibited chemiluminescent activity.

Die ω-substituierten Undecanale1 und2 reagierten mit Acridinderivaten3 und5 zu den terminal substituierten 9-Alkyliden-10-methylacridanen6. Die untersuchten Verbindungen zeigten eine starke Fluoreszenz und waren auch chemilumineszent.
