Abstract
It is shown that the velocity (c) of the autocatalytic travelling waves in the nitric acid-hydroxylamine system can be described by the formulac 2=4D{(3k 1/2)−k 2[NH3OH+]0} deduced from a previously proposed mechanism. Comparisons with other systems are included.
