Enhanced formation of ethane in the conversion of methane over Cu-Rh/SiO2

Abstract

We report on the enhanced formation of ethane in the non-oxidative conversion of methane, and on the increase of the higher hydrocarbons in the hydrogenation of surface carbon over copper-promoted Rh/SiO2 catalyst.
