Investigation and development of an extrusion process for the production of a bimetallic material

Conclusions

An extrusion process has been developed for the production of a bimetallic material composed of an iron-glass and a titanium-base layer. To obtain a strong bond between the outer and inner layers, the iron powder employed should be subjected to carburization.
