Abstract
The crystal structure of Ca9(Ca x Mg1−x )(AsO4)6(AsO3OH) withx ∼ 0.5 (a=10.73,c=37.74 Å; space group R3c-C 63v ;Z=6) was solved from 985 independent X-ray intensities collected on a 4-circle diffractometer, and refined toR=5.7% for all data. This compound is isotypic to Ca9Mg(PO4)6(PO3OH), a structure of the whitlockite-type.
