Conclusions
-
1.
It has been established by calculation that, in the atomization of 15% ferrosilicon, drops 52 and 30μ in size are produced at air jet velocities of 100 and 200 m/sec, respectively.
-
2.
Nomograms have been constructed making it possible to determine suitable conditions for atomizing ferrosilicon by means of an injector with separate nozzles.
