Calculation of sintering parameters based on rheological theory relationships

  • Published:
Soviet Powder Metallurgy and Metal Ceramics Aims and scope

Conclusions

Calculation based on the Theological theory of sintering makes it possible to determine with accuracy a porosity function by revealing its extreme value at any given ratio between the concentration and size of pores. Formulas have been proposed facilitating the choice of optimum sintering conditions.
