Conclusions

The relationship of the magnetic parameters of cores to the chemical and particle size compositions of the original powders was established. It is shown that without taking into consideration the influence of the latter, reliable prediction of part properties is impossible. The magnetic parameters may be calculated using Eqs. (1) and (2), the simplified Eqs. (8), and also the curves shown in Figs, 2–5. Under production conditions use of the curves is preferable.
