Conclusions
-
1.
A model of the volume structure of a current-conducting layer composed of spherical current-conducting particles is proposed. The feasibility of obtaining such a structure is demonstrated.
-
2.
On the basis of experimental data, it is shown that the limit of existence of the volume structure corresponds to a current-conducting phase content of 52.3 vol.%. Data are presented illustrating the effects of the properties of the starting materials upon the TCR, Kmp, and Kag of resistors.
-
3.
The feasibility of producing low-resistance variable resistors is established.
