Conclusions
A comprehensive investigation of the physicomechanical properties of austenitic Fe (Ni, Cr, Mo) alloys of compositions covering wide ranges of component concentrations has demonstrated that materials can be found among these alloys which are compatible with a hard Ti1−xNbxCo5No.5 phase and can therefore be expected to be suitable for use as binding matrices in the development of new cermets.
