Conclusions
An apparatus has been developed for the determination of the density of porous objects by the gamma spectroscopic method. Calibration of the apparatus has shown that relative error in the measurement of density amounts to 1–3%. Using this rapid nondestructive method, it is possible to assess qualitatively and quantitatively the distribution of density in porous parts under production conditions.
