Conclusions
Experimental data have been obtained characterizing the variation of the true resistance of cold rolled copper and iron sheet specimens to deformation with the degree of deformation and porosity. The data can be employed to determine force parameters of rolling in the planning of processes and design of mills for the rolling of metal powder strip. To calculate force parameters of rolling with high accuracy, it is essential that the formulas used should allow for the variation of σS in the deformation zone according to an approximating curve of the second order.
