Soviet Powder Metallurgy and Metal Ceramics Aims and scope

Conclusions

  1. 1.

Processing conditions have been determined enabling parts of high density to be produced from tungsten carbide powder.

  2. 2.

It is shown that a small quantity of tungsten oxide added to the starting powder activates the mass transport process during the sintering of tungsten carbide.
