Abstract
A model has been used for thermoplastic failure and ignition in a thin layer of viscoplastic material on impact with the normal law for the strength distribution in an explosive charge in order to perform numerical calculations on the initiation parameters and explosion curves as functions of charge dimensions and impact energy.
