Conclusions
-
1.
The formation of a surface, of different resistances promotes a delay of the ground throwout process in the direction of the line of least resistance, which leads to an increase of the time of action of the explosion in the medium and to, an increase of the effective throwout.
-
2.
In the case of a free surface in the form of a cylindrical segment, the energy losses of the explosion are reduced at the stage of gas acceleration, which leads to a reduction of the actual specific expenditure of explosive.
-
3.
The profiles of the transverse, cross-sections of the craters, fomed according to the scheme with a cylindrical free surface, are close to parabolic, with steeper sides, which is important for ensuring the stability of the slopes of explosion craters.
