Conclusions

  1. 1.

    Electric furnaces of the SEO type are reliable in operation, running for long periods without overhaul.

  2. 2.

    The electric furnaces allow the production of high-quality enamel coatings.

  3. 3.

    The power consumption of these furnaces is two to five times lower than in furnaces of other types used for enameling.

  4. 4.

    The technicoeconomic indices of SEO furnaces exceed those of the best foreign furnaces.
