Conclusions
-
1.
Straight sections of steam pipe made of steels 12MKh and 12Kh1MF can be operated at 540–550° under stresses of 47–70 MPa for as long as 300,000 h.
-
2.
The condition of bent sections of steam pipe is satisfactory with the permissible (<0.7%) and high (>0.7%) creep strain after 140,000 h. The residual operating time is 100,000 h, which points to the possibility of further reliable operation.
-
3.
To calculate theresidual operating time of steam pipe that has operated for prolonged periods we recommend the calculation method developed at IPP AN Ukrainian SSR and also the physical method developed at VZMI.
