Theory, Production Techniques, and Properties of Powders

The authors investigated the effect of pressure and temperature on the nitriding of PA-4 aluminum powder and PAK-4 aluminum dust. Nitriding was performed at nitrogen pressures of 196 and 294 kN and temperatures of 700–800°C for 60–120 min. Differences in kinetic processes, observed during nitriding under different conditions, are discussed.
