Abstract
It was established experimentally that during multicyclic deforming broaching, the stress intensity in the contact zone due to strain hardening changes practically only normal to the surface of the workpiece. A theoretical solution was obtained by the method of slip lines for an inhomogeneous perfectly plastic body with a linear law of such hardening, and the characteristics of the stress state of the workpiece related to the strain hardening gradient were established.
