  1. 1.

    The solid carrier used for analyzing impurities in nonpolar liquid phases has a marked effect on the quantitative analyses. For a quantitative verification of the method, we recommend special analyses of artificial mixtures, the composition of which are close to that of the mixture being analyzed.

     
  2. 2.

    In the case of gas-liquid chromatography, when nonpolar liquid phases are used the analysis of impurities should be performed on inert carriers or on carriers modified with small amounts of polar substances.
