Analysis of stresses and boundary angle of delivery when rolling powders

  • Published:
Soviet Powder Metallurgy and Metal Ceramics Aims and scope

Conclusions

  1. 1.

Stresses when rolling powders with a small underpressing pressure were analyzed.

  2. 2.

The boundary angle of delivery depends on the underpressing pressure, coefficient of friction of the powder on the roll, and the coefficient of internal friction of the powder.
