Summary

The germanide Mo3Ge can be obtained by sintering bars pressed from the components at 1780–1800°C for 4 h; these compounds cannot be obtained by the system described in [3], It was established that the melting point of Mo3Ge is 80—100° higher than that given in [2].

Cr3Ge is obtained by direct fusion of the components at 1520–1540°C.
