1.
The temperature dependence of electroresistance was measured for a number of metalloid carbides, borides, nitrides and suicides of the transition metals over a temperature range up to 1,000°C. It is demonstrated that in this temperature region they all exhibit metallic conductivity, with carbides showing the least values of the coefficient, and borides, particularly suicides, showing the highest.

2.
It is demonstrated that for simple substances and high-melting compounds of them dρ/dt decreases with an increase in the statistical weight of the atoms of the simple materials of metal and nonmetal atoms, possessing stable configurations in the localized portion of valence electrons.
