Use of bag filters for removing fine metal particles from air suspensions

  • Published:
Soviet Powder Metallurgy and Metal Ceramics Aims and scope

Summary

  1. 1.

To remove metallic powders with particle sizes of from 0.3 to 10μ, it is possible to use filters made from glass fabric mark TSF(a)9P, combined cloth with staple thread and TSSNF.

  2. 2.

The first two fabrics ensure complete removal from the start of operations, but possess a relatively high hydraulic resistance.

  3. 3.

Fabric TSSFN provides complete removal after the filling-up period and has a relatively low hydraulic resistance.
