    The phase diagram of the system Y2C3-MgO is of the eutectic type, the coordinates of the eutectic point being 52 mol. % MgO and a melting point of 2080 ± 30 °C, which are close to values calculated by the method described in [3].

    The phase diagrams Y2O3-MgO and La2O3-MgO have many common features.
