Effect of material unloading on the creep of alloys 01570 and AMg6

Abstract

The effect of unloading on the creep of alloys 01570 and AMg6 at low loading levels, i.e., about (0.5–0.8)σ0.2, is studied. Two test programs are realized with partial and total unloading. The effect of unloading on creep of the alloys in question is established, and it is most pronounced with partial unloading.
