Abstract
A study was made of the conditions required for extracting psoralene fromPsoralea drupacea seeds with certain binary water-organic solvents, and the technology of this extraction has been elaborated. The yield of the compound from the seeds was 0.7% which is equivalent to twice the yield obtained from the roots.
