The cytochromec oxidase from the yeastCandida parapsilosis

Abstract

In the yeastCandida parapsilosis, the proteins encoded by mitochondrial DNA are different in number and size from those ofSaccharomyces cerevisiae. Nevertheless, the purified cytochromec oxidase fromCandida parapsilosis shows kinetic properties similar to those ofSaccharomyces cerevisiae.
