Conclusions
-
1.
The precipitation of α-phase and iron from solid solution takes place during the annealing of special brass.
-
2.
The α-phase precipitates in the form of needles along crystallographic directions in the cast structure.
-
3.
Only noncoherent dispersed particles are found in the brass structure after annealing, nonuniformly distributed in the matrix.
