Conclusions
-
1.
Reducing the quantity of γ′ phase in alloys KhN77TYuR and KhN70VMTYu leads to an increase in the value of the contact difference of potentials.
-
2.
Empirical relationships between the CDP and the hardness of the alloys with holding time at overheating temperature were estabished.
-
3.
The rate of change in the CDP of the alloys when heated at temperatures above phase transformation temperatures varies with the quantity and stability of hardening γ′ phase. The change in the CDP depends on the chemical composition and the extent of overheating.
-
4.
The CDP method is recommended as a method of nondestructive testing to determine whether alloys KhN77TYuR and KhN70VMTYu have been overheated.
