A rapid method for the quantitative determination of the methyl ester of dichloroacetic acid

Abstract

A rapid method has been proposed for the quantitative determination of the methyl ester of dichloroacetic acid (MEDAA) which eliminates the precipitation of oxalic acid as calcium oxalate and which allows the time of analysis to be reduced from 18 to 2 1/2 h.
