Abstract
The article suggests a differential equation and presents its solution describing the process of unidirectional plastic deformation of metals in an ultrasound field. This made it possible to shed light on the dependence of the stress in the specimen on time, on the amplitude and frequency of the vibrations, and also on the unidirectional strain rate.
