Conclusions

  1. 1.

The reaction ofβ-haloacyl derivatives of iminodibenzyl with different amines leads to the formation ofβ-aminoacyl derivatives of iminodibenzyl.

  2. 2.

Of the synthesized compounds, N-(β-methylamino-,β-dimethylamino-,β-diethylaminopropionyl)- and (β-diethylamino-α-methylpropionyl)iminodibenzyls can be regarded as prospective antidepressants and deserve clinical examination.
