Conclusions

  1. 1.

    The absorption spectra in the ultraviolet and infrared regions were run.

  2. 2.

    The fluorescence of the substances being analyzed as powders, in solution, and on filter paper was determined.

  3. 3.

    Nine spot tests on special reagent papers are proposed: on paper containing lignin, with potassium permanganate, monochloramine B and T, dichloramine B and T, with para-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde, sodium hexanitrocuproate, with a solution of iodine in potassium iodide, with cerium (IV) sulfate, and with sodium nitrite.
